Delta Marine Consultants Singapore is an international consultancy firm specialised in the field of coastal and waterfront infrastructure with a proven track record worldwide.
Our team brings together worldwide expertise, knowledge and experience in coastal and structural consultancy services. This enables us to support our client in their development of waterfront infrastructure, coping with climate change, maintain/upgrade or expand their facilities and by developing resilient solutions.
Our History
Delta Marine Consultants Singapore was founded in the late 1980’s for the purpose of providing consultancy, project management and engineering design services to clients on a worldwide basis. The company has expertise in the fields of urban infrastructure, large-scale transport infrastructure, ports and harbour development and coastal engineering.
Since end of 2023 Delta Marine Consultants Singapore is part of Van Oord, a leading international marine contractor with focus on dredging, infrastructure and offshore energy.
Before we move further into our exiting new chapter it is good to look back at our past.
Our presence in Singapore started 35 years ago as part of a contractor, which is currently known as Royal BAM Group. One of our first offices was situated in the Concourse at Beach Road. Since then we contributed to a variety of projects in Singapore, in the region and worldwide. In Singapore, our heritage encompasses various facets that interface with the lives of its inhabitants. We took part in the nation’s growth by contributing to the development of harbour facilities on Jurong Island.
We helped the nation by taking part in creating recreational facilities such as the Sentosa Resort Seawall and the King’s Dock floating structure. In addition we have worked on the development of National Landmarks such as the Marina Bay Sands Waterfront Promenade and are currently involved in the construction of National Square.
In the APAC region we have extensive experience in a variety of projects such as the (detailed) design of various jetty projects in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. An important part of the successful contribution to all our projects is the strong connection we have with the construction industry, previously with the Royal BAM Group and currently with Van Oord. This connection ensures that the deliverance of constructable and buildable designs is in our DNA.
Coming back to Singapore, the country where we embarked our journey 35 years ago. We have moved into our new office which is located in the Concourse where it all began. The symbolic completion of this circle makes us curious and thrilled about the continuation of this exiting journey.

Our team boasts expertise in Structural Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and drafting services. With a focus on coastal and maritime environments.
Delta Marine Consultants Singapore arranges for frequent exchange of staff throughout the organisation for training purposes, to benefit from agreed work methods and to familiarize with colleagues and cultures to further promote the mutual work spirit. We liaise with skilled partners to complement expertise and local knowledge as required to maximise the benefits for our clients. Our clients include Government Entities, Port Authorities, multinational companies as well as small and medium size enterprises. We are able to tailor our services to suit the needs of our clients. This can be for specific components of a project as well as a full project scope ranging from feasibility studies to full detailed design services including Project Management and Technical Due Diligence Studies.
